Editing and Deleting Content Filters

The Content Filtering page allows you to change the filters that are automatically applied to incoming mail for your e-mail account. Filters offer a way of screening and categorizing incoming mail messages. This includes redirecting incoming messages to other folders, as defined by the parameters of the specific filters. For more information on filters, see Creating a Content Filter.

To change a content filter:

  1. Click Content Filtering from the links on the left.
    The Content Filtering page displays.
  2. Select the Edit icon for the filter you want to change.
    The page refreshes and displays the settings for that particular filter.
  3. Change the filter using the methods described in Creating a Content Filter. Click OK.
    Result: The system applies the changes.

To delete a content filter:
  1. Click Content Filtering.
    Result: The Content Filtering page displays.
  2. In the Delete column, click the Delete icon for the filter you want to delete.
    Result: A confirmation page displays.
  3. Click Delete.
    Result: The page redisplays showing the remaining filters, or a message that you do not currently have any content filters.
